a few months ago iwrote areview out ofanger and that isnot meand iwould really love toapologize, I'm truly happy Iwent tothis driving school because they actually teach and talk toyou through everything, you cant beco*cky ora know itall, you have towiling tolearn and dothe work meaning practice meaning you have topractice onyourown! overall great school. alil slow when itcomes tothe driving but agreat school!!!

All mychildren went toangelwood and never had aproblem. They are very friendly people trying tohandle aton ofkids wanting totake driversed. Things come upand delays happen. Alittle understanding goes alongway! Thanks angelwood

I’ve heard good opinions from Angelwood from friends & family that came here & seen the bad reviews people gave them, soI came inwith anopen mind and wouldn’t let other opinions influence how Ifelt.
I walked inmy first day toget the 6hour classroom instruction done & with the wayMr. Chuck communicated how the day would work out & how hespoke tous itgave megood peace ofmind that itwould bea very laidback class, which itwas.Mr. Chuck used personal experiences togive usa better
understanding ofwhat hewas teaching & itdefinitely helped the day goby alot easier.I called toschedule my8hours ofdriving & was scheduled from 9—11amfrom Mon-Thurs, and mydriver wasMr.Tom. Iwas picked upeach day around the same time (8:45—9) and brought home 2hours later. Our route was down Belle Chasse Hwy & LA23for the first 2days toget used tobeing intraffic & staying inthe lanes.Mr. Tom was professional yet very personable, definitely helped calm any nerves down. Each day went byvery smooth & itreally made mecomfortable behind the wheel. The road test atthe end was given byMr. Chuck, which was pretty easy & ageneral demonstration you can maneuver through the streets safely.
When you get inthe car with anyone from Angelwood, they aren’t aninstructor that’ll breathe down your neck and make you feel bad about any small mistakes you may make, they’re there todo one thing, and that’s tobe acomfortable & confident driver. They want tosee you pass, and the best way todo that isto keep the student calm & levelheaded, which they did anamazing jobat. Thank y’all for teaching methese past couple weeks, itwas avery easy process getting itall done!

Anytime you try tocall they don’t answer Ifinished mydriving section over three weeks ago and Istill haven’t heard back from them noone ever picks upthe phone

Omg!!! Idont know where tostart!!!!!Mr. Chuck was very patient with myson with everything and hewas great atkeeping incontact about everything during COVID-19!!! Hemade sure myson got his license and that hewas ready for the streets. Myson was scared tohis licenses and about being onthe road, but after going here he’s ready & always willing todrive mearound!!!!

I wouldn’t recommend noone tocome here mydaughter have been finish her Driving test since beginning ofJuly and still never called her orcontacted her about the next step. Ipaid $400and she dont know how topark orbackup! Awaste ofmy money and time.I keep calling noanswer!!! They saying there backed upbut they shouldn’t take too many ifthey cant handleit!!

COVID has changed many things and although wewish things could bedifferent wecant. Wewere not backed upbecause wedidn't want towork wewere backed upbecause phase 1didn't allow usto work. Wehave since caught upand are getting things done the way weusuallydo. Iapologize for any inconvenience itmay have causedyou.

I did not learn much while driving with the instructor (all hehad medo was gostraight onthe road). idid not learn how toreverse, merge lanes, but togo straight. Icalled toschedule my3rd driving session and the man was like “do you understand that around 12pm & 1pm there are too many cars foryou, you are just abeginner and itwill bedangerous for you” Well how will Ilearn todrive onbusy roads ifi pay $400tolearn how todrive inthose circ*mstances not tojust gostraight onempty roads. Another was the driving instructor had togo meet upwith one ofhis family members atthe police building for his nephew and hejust told meit will bequick and soi waited for him and his sister orwhatever tofinish their business and waited inthe car bymyself for over 30minutes even tho iwas supposed tobe driving.… – show

This student has nodriving experience which isfine! Wetry toschedule those students earlier inthe day and two weekends ina row asit allows usto teach them more when the roads aren't asbusy. They have cancelled drives several times atthe last minute. Our policy isto charge ano show fee which wehave not charged her even though they have cancelled several times. During the phone conversation yesterday (Saturday) she stated she had been waiting all morning for her instructor. Her mom scheduled her for today (Sunday) which she was going tocancel again. Ipersonally explained toher that wehave atime limit tocomplete her course and ithas been two months that wehave been trying toget her 8hours ofdrivingin. She then called back five minutes later admitting that she was wrong and her mom scheduled her drive for today (Sunday) and she was sorry for the mixup, but she would like todrive her drive. Iapologize ifyou felt Iwas rude, but inall fairness wehave tried our hardest toget your drives completed ina timely manner. Westrive toteach everyone asmuch aswe can in8hours, but with drives scheduled sofar apart its hard toget tothe next step.… – show

The April lady isvery rude..told usto come back the next day at7, noon, orafter 4pm toschedule. Wecame back before 7am and Chuck said “no, idid not tell you tocome today. come back after 4because the lady isnot here(even tho the lady told usto come atthat time).” Very rude and unorganized. Came back after 4pm and the Chuck boy said “who told yall you can come inrightnow. April isstill not here I'm not sure ifshe told you ifyou can come.

Our course is$360.00not $350.00. Who was your instructor? Wehave been inbusiness over 30years and donot receive many complaints. Wedo not have this name inour database either. Iwould bemore than happy tolook into your complaint ifyou call the office. Thanks management

The best driving school I’ve ever been.Mr.Chuck andMr.Tom were the ones Ihad for driversed. Inthe classroomMr.Chuck talks about what ishave favorite were “Pedestrians” after that people were class with meall laughed.Mr.Tom isthe greatest instructor ofbehind the wheel test. Iscored well onthe behind the wheel test and got myself the permit. For those people looking for The best school come toAngelwood they treated you like family!
