2025 Jeep Wagoneer S: What We Know So Far (2024)

Overview

The 2025 Wagoneer S is one of two electric SUVs that are set to be introduced to the North American markets, along with the Jeep Recon EV. Unlike the Jeep Wrangler 4xe and the Grand Cherokee 4xe, which are plug-in-hybrid models, the Wagoneer S will be strictly battery-powered with an estimated range of 400 miles on a charge. As far as performance is concerned, Jeep expects a 600-horsepower output that will enable the electrified SUV to sprint to 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds. The introduction of the Jeep Wagoneer S is a major milestone for the off-road brand, which expects EVs to make up half of its sales in the U.S. by 2030.

What's New for 2025?

The 2025 Wagoneer S will be the first electric model from Jeep, though it will draw inspiration from the brand’s current gasoline-powered models and fuse it with EV-esque features such as a light-up grille. This blend of modern and traditional styling elements gives the Wagoneer S a futuristic look, but it is still recognizable as a Jeep. EV Motor, Power, and Performance

The electric Wagoneer will ride on the STLA Large platform, which features an 800-volt architecture. While we don't yet know official power figures, we expect it to have a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain. The concept was said to have 600 horsepower that can send the EV SUV to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds—or at least that's the targeted number. Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

Inside, the Wagoneer S has a dashboard that's loaded with displays. Based on the photos that have been released, we count four screens, three of which appear to be touchscreens. Along with all the fancy tech, it looks like there are rich materials throughout, from the sturdy rotary shift knob to the stitched surfaces on the doors to the ambient lighting that wraps around the co*ckpit. Jeep has revealed that a panoramic sunroof will be standard. A 19-speaker McIntosh sound system will also be part of the package, and massaging front seats appear to be available too.
